ITALIANS WILL CELEBRATE EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY
OF SAINT ROCCO FOR TWO DAYS

Italians of Aliquippa will celebrate the eighth anniversary of Saint Rocco, tomorrow and Sunday. The celebration will be under auspices of the Italian Musical and Political Club and will be held on Third Avenue, Plan 11.

The program will be opened tomorrow by the Jones & Laughlin band, directed by Walter Iacobucci, playing from the I. M. P. club house, at 8 a.m., and marching through Second and Fourth Avenues, to announce the opening of the celebration. At 7 p.m. the band will resume the program at a stand on Third Avenue and will play until 11 p.m.

On Sunday morning, at 9 o’clock, the I. M. P. club members, Jones & Laughlin band, Sons of Columbus and over a hundred boys and girls, dressed in white, will gather at the I. M. P. club. They will march from Third avenue, down Fifth avenue to Sheffield avenue and Franklin avenue, thence to St. Titus church, where high mass in honor of St. Rocco will be celebrated.

The Italo-American Filodramatic club of Plan 11 will present an entertainment at 3 p.m., in Polish hall, Fourth avenue, with a play, “The slave of San Domingo,” a drama in four acts, a prologue in Italian and a comedy. The band will play from the Third avenue stand again from 7 to 8 p.m., when distribution of merchandise contributed by Italian merchants of Aliquippa and the Italian Musical and Political club will begin. After prizes are given away, the band will continue playing until 11:30 p.m.

The Italian Musical and Political club and the members of the St. Rocco committee have extended an invitation to all people of Aliquippa to attend the celebration.
